About

Galatea Georgiou was born in Limassol, Cyprus in 1993. From a young age she would find refuge in music and books. She took classical guitar and music theory lessons and at the age of fifteen she started writing her first songs. In 2011 she moved to Greece where her love for photography was ignited. Since 2017, Galatea has participated in four photography exhibitions both in Greece and in Cyprus. In 2018 she published her first photopoetry book called 'rebirth'. In 2019 she met local producer Papazó and started working on her first single 'Grief to Grace' which was released in July accompanied by a music video directed by Griseldo Ndoka. Galatea and Papazó worked together for a while releasing a cover of Barrie-James's song 'Night Burns' and a duet called 'Se skeftomai' featured on Papazó's debut EP. In 2021 Galatea released her first EP called 'How it Feels to Know' produced by Sakis Bastas.
